Is there parking?
Yes! There is a parking lot in the rear of the building and there is free street parking in the front of the building.
Can I bring my child?
Sadly, any child under 7 is not permitted to take place in making a candle. Also, anyone under 14 will need direct assistance by us or their guardian.
Does the building lock after a certain hour?
Yes, after 8pm the building is locked. Give us a call/text to let us know you've arrived.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards, Cash App, Venmo & Apple Pay. We do not accept cash.
What is the Booking Deposit Policy?
If you need to cancel your booking, please send us an email at createacandle301.com. With at least a 48 hour notice, we can refund you your deposit. Any cancellations after 48 hours are non-refundable.
How do I enter the building?
From the parking lot, go up the black staircase, and enter the building. From the street, you must call/text us at 202-597-2760 to get you through the front gate.
How long is a session?
Around 2 hours.
How do I become a seller in the studio?
Shoot us an email at createacandle301@gmail.com with your name, business, socials and a couple photos of what you sell/make.
I'm pregnant, can I make a candle?
The oils that we use are free of carcinogens, reproductive toxins and other concerning chemicals. Even with that being said we do recommend you check with your doctor and wear gloves during your session.
Is the session BYOB?
Yes! You are welcome to bring wine.
I'm in the building but how do I get to the studio?
Once you are on the 3rd level, just keep going left until you get to the final suite, 315!
Do you accept walk-ins?
No, we currently only take reservations.
Can I make more than one candle?
If there are 6 or less people in a session we do allow the option of two candles.
